The 2022 Hud’s Blend is a medium-bodied, red wine blend of 38% Zinfandel, 32% Primitivo, 25% Petite Sarah and 5% Merlot. The Zinfandel, Primitivo and Petite Sarah come from Yolo County. The Merlot is from Livermore Valley.

The flavors include strawberry, earthiness and watermelon with notes of blueberry and violets in the background.

The grapes were fermented separately in open top bins with three daily punch downs. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months and bottled.
